Even
if all the planets align, it's cat-hearding
getting us lot away on Motoeuro; it's either
work, family holidays or being skint that causes
the issues, so for 2010 get this......... A
series of trips in the UK that will make up
the 2010 calendar. Simple really, either you
can come on all of 'um or just the odd one or
two depending on the size of tour wallet. Dates
will be set after we've all downed at least
5 pints each at the pub and we're feeling uber
confident. I reckon 2-3 days for each, ta-dar.
I know, thank me later.

ISLE
OF MAN
Yes, that is Joey's Statue in the Isle of Man.
Bugger TT week, it costs a fortune and we'll
never get accommodation. But we can pop-over
pre or post TT and ride the 37.5 mile course.
Round off with a few cheeky ones, buy a T-Shirt
and Bob's yer uncle.
| We're
looking at about 300 miles of non motorway
riding including a swift lap of the TT.
Haven't accounted for getting lost. Top. |

IRELAND
One of the more famous and best known bike routes
doesn't involve Northern Ireland, but the beautiful
south starting in Cork to the coast and Killamey.
Cracking bike roads, perfectly tarmac'ed and
with many places to stay Ireland is high on
the list of "must-do". Does Guinness
really turn your poo black?
| There's
a ferry from the Isle of Man to Ireland.
I feel an extra long weekend coming on
:) |

WALES
More recently known for their lack or motorcycle
tolerance, Wales is ironically noted for superb
biking roads. Could tie this in with the Ireland
trip by riding Llangollen to Holyhead for the
ferry ? Ooo, I'm good.
Snowdonia National Park anyone or a bit of rarebit
?
| 260
miles to the southern point of Snowdonia
National Park. That's assuming Wales isn't
in the huff. |

DOON
SOOTH
England is littered with good biking roads,
most of which come up in bike magazines every
few months. Let's glue a few together for a
long weekend and meet up with the Southern Chapter
of Motoeuro. OK eagle-eyes, that's not a UK
road....
Alternatively, bugger the biking thing, grab
the ferry to Amsterdam and get smashed out our
heads. Again.
Time
to call on the touring skills of Stevie
for this one.
Or, Bike Magazine. |

LOOP
'O SCOTLAND
We've done the Inverness thing via Glen Coe,
but Geordie's idea of a loop of the Highlands
sounds good to me. Fort William, Inverness,
Ullapool, Thurso, John O'Groats and back down
the East Coast.
Hope it's sunny.
| Loop
'o Scotland takes in the finest roads
and Tennents. Prepare for over 1,000 miles
on fun :) |
